Perkster is an exceptionally well built and heavy boned palomino AQHA stallion that has proved himself. He sires colts with size, bone, and extreme thickness. But, the best is the disposition he stamps on them.

Perkster has proven genetics. He is a son of DASH FOR PERKS, a leading barrel horse and arena sire with winnings in excess of $4 million dollars. DASH FOR PERKS has sired several top barrel horses including LADY PERKS who has winnings of $217,000+; and CASH FOR PERKS with winnings in excess of $100,000. Perkster’s dam represents some of the best of the Cowen Ranch. She is a full sister to PC BOSTON BOB, a proven arena sire. PC BOSTON BOB was the sire to several Badland Circuit Horses of the Year. The BOON DOX JOHNS are proven rodeo horses and are known for their good minds. STELLA FROST may have been DOCS JACK FROST’s greatest broodmare daughter.

Perkster is a proven sire of rodeo and ranch horses. He has sired the high selling colt in our sale three times and sired the High Selling Horse at the University of Montana – Western sale the last two years. With his pedigree, ability to breed color, and his calm, easy-going manner, his colts have always had a fan club.

Perkster is nominated for the newly formed Riata Buckle, a timed roping event from the owners of the Pink Buckle. The fall of 2022 a handicapped roping with an initial two million guaranteed payout was held at the Lazy E Arena in Oklahoma. All of Perkster’s offspring are grandfathered in and all colts conceived in 2022 will be eligible for life to the Riata Buckle.
