| WHY NOT GOER is a Goer grandson, by Mr. Country Goer, out of Why Not Mimi. He has many greats in his background, including ApHC legends Peavy Bimbo, Red Plaudit, Joker B, Prince Plaudit, Princes Jim and Apache II. He also has TB and AQHA legends Leo, Top Deck, Three Bars, King & Wiggy Bars in his pedigree and is in his second year of producing quality foals. His first year was 80% colored, and this year has been 100% so far. Why Not is in training this year and is doing well under saddle. He has a very nice nature and is the babysitter for the mares when they need a break from the foal antics. Why Not is a stout fella and has produced some very halter-able foals, his fillies have been outstanding and very feminine, with healthy bulk to their bodies. We chose Why Not to be our Junior Stallion to compliment our foundation bred Iron Gyro daughters, and he has certainly proven to be a good nick with them. The book Spotted Pride lists 25 Legends of ApHC and there are a total of 17 Legends in our breeding program, most in the first five generations. Why Not will be pasture breeding this spring starting April 20, and his foals will be available for viewing any time. |
