We searched ranches and production sales in Utah, Nevada, California, Idaho, South Dakota, Nebraska, Wyoming, and Montana. We purchased several weanling colts from some of the most well known producers, looking for color, conformation, pedigree, etc. After much trial and error, and several years, we had one outshine the rest. The decision was an easy one - Macha Roany Music. He fit all the criteria we were working for. He has not disappointed us or the folks who either purchased foals from us or bred one of their own mares to him. His foals all have that full of life personality, athletic and balanced, kind hearted, pretty heads, big hips, and color - color - color. Roans in all colors; colors the AQHA have a hard time naming. His foals have competed and won in many areas- cutting, reining, barrels, and haltering. They are being used in High School Rodeos, 4H, adult riding groups, drill teams, roping, and as great family friends for trail riding and baby sitting grand kids. |
