UC Davis tested EE for the black
gene. 41% Blue Valentine with 8 up-close crosses. I
purchased him to cross back on the Macha Roany Music daughters, adding
all the great traits for Using horses that Blue Valentine is known for,
yet retaining the beauty and athletic ability of the Music Mounts.
This guy is a heavy-boned and muscled-up specimen, yet he retains a very
fluid movement. He will put some size and stamina back into the
Cowhorse and Reining-bred horses. He was injured on a large pivot
sprinkler in Idaho as a baby, so we are taking his riding and training
easy for now. In 2011 he will hand- and pasture-breed a few good
mares for Private Treaty. We test-bred 5 mares in 2010 to see how
