| Iron Gyro is a 1990 ox-blood near leopard who has "been there - done that"! From the show pen to the rodeo arena, and up to the hunting camp to pack out game. He likes to push cattle and his get (80+) have proven that they can also excel in all performance areas. Gyro carries the blood of Bright Eyes Brother #F3047, Joker B #F678, Apache II #F1607, Queen's Dandy, Patchy #F416, Red Plaudit, Norell's Cootersvilles Little Red #F1673 and Sundance #F500. As a 3 year old, Gyro was the Montana Sate Appaloosa Horse Show High Point Champion and he's been Reserve Montana State Champion Games Horse many times (the Games Championship went to his daughter and a full brother). Gyro is a ROM producer in multiple events and his babies don't just have his looks, but are very willing and able to perform. His daughter Iron Abby has been the top Games horse in Montana for 7 years and placed in the Top Ten at the World Show in the Rope Race. His daughters are producing some fantastic foals. That flowing mane and tail are in evidence on his get, too, and he has a strong black factor that has produced some striking youngsters. If there's a parade to strut his stuff in, he's a happy fella (oh! and a grandchild to bring him carrots!!!). We have a few older colts and current year colts for sale. |
