CR Pick Hit aka: "Soup" is a grullo mouse color in the winter that sheds out to a beautiful silver roan, although he is registered as a dun.  His build is of a cowhorse type, small and compact with nice muscling.  He stands just under 15 hands, is very balanced with correct legs and good feet.  He has a terrific mind.  He is broke to ride and we ride all his brothers and sister on the ranch. They have all been great to ride.  They have the mind you need for an all around ranch horse, which is just what we are trying to raise.  They have also done well in the show ring.
Soup's first foal crop was in 2005.  He produced 100% roans & one dun roan.  This was out of mares that were not of color.  His babies were very nice; we feel he did a great job.  They also showed that dad passed his great mind down with the roan color.
His sire is Snipper Music, who is known for passing down lots of color with a great sensible mind.  Snipper Music was also a grullo roan, plus a performance horse.  He was a Snaffle Bit Futurity winner in reined cowhorse.  Also a multiple winner in open reining, cutting and team penning.
Soup is registered with the FQHA, at 93.75% foundation breeding.  He has many AQHA champions in his pedigree and goes back to Music Mount, Snpper Reed, Revenue, Poco Tivio, Bar Mount and old Wiescamp breeding.
Grade mares accepted; sorry, we don't accept mares that are not halter-broke.  Mares must be current on influenza & rhino vaccinations, and wormed 10 days before arrival.
