Flying M Paints is located in Ulm, Montana, near Great Falls.  We raise tobiano and overo Paint horses with our mares possessing strong Foundation breeding including Three Bars, Joe Reed, Peter McCue, King, Croton Oil, Leo, Wimpy, Top Deck, My Texas Dandy, Impressive, Doc Bar, Poco Bueno, Two Eyed Jack, Mr. Norfleet, Red Sonny Dee, Skipper W, and Peppy, that emphasize all-around athletes with gentle dispositions.  A variety of colors are represented as well, ranging from sorrel, palomino, bay, dun and black.  We raise an average of five colts each year.

We are especially proud of our sorrel overo stallion Duke of Eclipse.  Duke is a very quiet 1999 stallion with a strong background including Impressive, Three Bars, Sonny Dee Bar, Wimpy, Leo, Oklahoma Star and more.  He won two blue ribbons as a yearling at the Montana Paint Horse Club Stallion Offspring Futurity and got a First place again as a 4-year old.  Duke's strong Foundation breeding really showed at his only other outing when he became 2002 Rocky Mountain Breeders Association Junior/Novice Working Cowhorse Champion.
